This film dives into the importance of knowledge in the mountains, showcasing the work done behind the scenes by a young guide, Pierre-Idris Mehdis (PIM), prior to his excursions to keep his clients safe. Set in Chamonix, the mountaineering mecca of Europe, PIM showcases what a guide can bring to the table on the day of expedition, and where that can take you.

The film contrasts the danger of the terrain with the beauty of what you can see and achieve in the high alpine with careful and precise preparation.
